Team member Alexandre Laurin recently published new methods to explore the relationship between the nervous and cardiovascular systems. The paper significantly simplifies existing techniques and diminishes the time-window necessary to obtain valid information. Their findings also support the idea that although the timing of norepinephrine bursts at the artery bed is related to acute pressure loss, its magnitude is related to overall mean pressure.
