After a Master's Degree in mathematical modelling and simulation for biomedical applications at the University of Trento (Italy) and two internships at the WIAS Institute in Berlin, Federica Caforio is just starting her PhD with MΞDISIM. She will work on mathematical and numerical modelling of elastic waves propagation in the beating heart, for the extension of ultrasound elastography to the cardiac setting.
