- Numerical methods and mathematical analysis for structural mechanics (shells, in particular)
- Biomechanical modelling, with major focus on the cardiovascular system
- Inverse problems: estimation, data assimilation for above models
Various responsibilities:
- Scientific head of the joint AP-HP Inria laboratory "Daniel Bernoulli", aka Bernoulli Lab
- Member of the editorial board of ESAIM:M2AN
